Let the flames of inspiration guide you.

I’m curious if you’ve been feeling a new wave of energy like I have? A lot of my friends and clients are going through BIG shifts these days and it’s been so exciting to be a part of that energy!

Today’s magic trick is all about paying attention to the sparks (‘downloads,’ ‘whispers,’ ‘gut feelings,’ etc.) and following the fire that they create. These ‘sparks’ are different than our everyday thoughts, and we can recognize them by sensing any kind of excitement, urgency, or clarity around them.

They usually feel like they come out of the blue; when you feel them, you don’t necessarily have to jump into action at that exact moment. Take a pause and explore the inspiration – maybe visualize where it might lead or even journal about it to see if it still resonates the next day.

The reason I’m inspired to write about this now is because last week I received a mini spark: “update website.” I know it might seem silly to receive a ‘download’ like this, but I heard the ‘whisper’ randomly on a Tuesday, and then decided to explore this idea.

I wasn’t sure why I had that thought. I already had a great website! I spent a ton of time building the one I had, why would I want to redo it? Was this idea just me procrastinating on something else? But I still entertained the idea and visualized what the outcome could be.

Then…another BIG spark. It was like something came over me and I got swept away in the flames created by this spark.

Needless to say, I now have a completely new website (and all new colors/branding!)!! 😂 Each day last week, I would finish my client work and then dive deep into my new creation, following tiny spark after tiny spark. And I enjoyed every second of it! It was like a whirlwind; I’m honestly shocked with how much I did in a few days.

But here’s the thing – because I followed the sparks and, essentially, let the flames completely engulf me with inspiration, I have a newfound energy within my business! I am BEYOND excited about my website. I’m even obsessed with my new color palette (it’s funny how even colors can have a major impact on you! 😂). I’ve never been so proud of Dream Life Connection – but not just because of a website or color palette, but because of what DLC embodies and the magic it is creating with my clients and within me. And now that I feel like my foundation is stronger than ever, I’m more excited with my client work and future projects for DLC. It’s all so CLEAR now.

It’s all because I had a little idea and decided to act on it.

So…if you ever get a seemingly random idea or a wave of inspiration, follow it. Let it take you on a ride. I can attest that the ‘other side’ is pure magic!!

On a Personal Note…

Here’s to hoping we all continue receiving some ideas, inspiration, and a lot of sparks to light our way. ✨🔥

Have a magical week,
Andrea
